Hi, I'm Cady!

I am the Teen Dyer behind the colors at Fairway Fibers. I began dyeing yarn during my summer break in 2019. My GG (grandma) wanted to unravel and dye a sweater that she knitted years before. We tried all different methods before we found the perfect red color for her. I really enjoyed it, and I asked my mom if I could dye more things. I tie-dyed shirts, and then started dyeing yarn. I've met some really incredible dyers who have helped me with my technique and encouraged me to keep dyeing.

I play golf, and decided that I wanted to start a business that would combine my love of the sport with my love of color. I love experimenting with colors and finding inspiration from the course, and all of my adventures. I also wanted to help raise money for The First Tee, the organization that helps me (and thousands of other kids) learn life skills through the game of golf. 10% of every sale goes to them, because I want all kids to have access to the game.
